This is the first release of RULATAM Paraguay 50. Asuncion is chosen as the main urban landmark: it is concentrated large chains, premium and mass retail, and enough online sources for a comparable set of 50 items.

Methodology

Measuring is coming from Asunción; these are city prices, not the national average. Sources: Superseis/Hiperseis, Casa Rica, Stock, Los Jardines and other verifiable sources of Asunción.

All prices are checked by RULATAM volunteers; the index excludes rent, utility bills, medicine, schools, taxes and flights; it is an applied monitoring of the cost of living, not official statistics.
