Collection period: From September 20 to 27, 2026, the survey takes place in Rio de Janeiro; it's the price of the city, not the national average.

Sources of release: Carrefour, Extra Mercado, Zona Sul, Prezunic, Drogasil and other online and offline trading platforms, including delivery services.

First, you look for the same product, brand and packaging, you take into account the minimum public price of one unit without a club card, a bank or the mandatory purchase of several products, you use the published price per kilogram for bulk products, you use the SKU replacement or the mismatch of packaging excludes a line from the monthly dynamics.
